This Application Programming Interface (API) document is aimed at helping you connect your software & online services to SPL’s shipping & tracking platform. By using these APIs, you will be able to get the information that you need to get started with the integration.
Security
We take data privacy and security seriously and ensure that any information collected through the integration are compliant with regional and global security regulations. During the integration, we implement the right set of security tools to safeguard information being transmitted between systems for which 2 levels of security means are used for each method:
1- Authorizing Requests: during this cycle, each submitted request will be validated based on the most recent generated API bearer token using valid and approved credentials. Those credentials are provided by SPL’s team at the commencement of the integration.
2- Authorizing Customer Identity: during this cycle, each submitted request should contain a valid and approved customer and branch code.

Authentication
To ensure we maintain high standards of security and provide additional protection for users and accounts, our API services use a combination of technology and software protocols that impose API authentication. Users will require to get a bearer key token that requires frequent renewal.
